A full-day enrichment program for homeschoolers and hybrid learners who love to explore, create, and connect.

🔍 What is our Discovery Days program?

Formerly known as Fridays in the Park, Trailblazer Discovery Days is a one-of-a-kind program that brings science and enrichment to life in an outdoor setting.

Held on 27 Mondays throughout the school year, this drop-off program combines hands-on science, creative enrichment, and plenty of outdoor free play—perfect for curious, active learners.​​​

🧪 Science Comes to Life

Our mornings are rooted in the Nature Explorers Science Lab, where students dive into 6 themed sessions (4–5 weeks each), exploring topics like:

  • Climatology

  • Geology

  • Biology

  • Anthropology

  • Herpetology

  • Ecology

Each week, learners dig into big science ideas in the best classroom of all—nature—using curiosity, teamwork, and outdoor exploration to guide their learning.

🎨 Afternoon Enrichment

After lunch, learners choose from a rotating menu of engaging classes that build creativity, skills, and confidence. Activities may include:

  • 🍳 Cooking Classes

  • 🌱 Seasonal Gardening

  • 🧘 Yoga Under the Trees

  • 🎨 Art in Nature

  • ⚽ Team Sports & Games

  • 🏕️ Outdoor Exploration

  • 🐾 Wildlife Observation

  • 🌍 Cultural Exploration

  • 🎉 Free Play

🏞️ A Unique Learning Environment

Set on 10+ acres of natural space in Cedar Park, Discovery Days offers a balanced mix of structured learning and child-led exploration. Whether your child is already part of our academic program or brand new to Nature’s Schoolhouse, Mondays here are a magical way to start the week.

📅 Sample Daily Rhythm

9:00 AM | Arrival + Outdoor Free Play

10:00 AM | Morning Gathering

10:15 AM | Nature Explorers Science Lab

11:45 AM | Lunch + Outdoor Free Play

1:00 PM | Enrichment Classes

2:30 PM | Pack Up + Clean Up

3:00–3:30 PM | Outdoor Free Play + Dismissal

💰 Tuition & Registration

  • Program Cost: $2,325 for the year

  • Deposit: $300 (due at registration)

  • Payment Options:

    • Pay remainder in full by September 1, or

    • 9 monthly payments of $225 (Sept–May)

  • Discovery Days is included in our full-time explorers program at no additional cost.

Due to the overwhelming interest and numerous applications from our waitlist, we’re excited to announce that we've opened 10 additional spots for our Discovery Days program! These spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're interested, we encourage you to enroll soon.

Spaces are limited and will fill quickly.

Once we reach full capacity, we'll reopen the waitlist.
