Service Description

This program is broken up into 6 sessions that run from early September through mid May. Each session lasts 4-5 weeks and focuses on a specific branch of science (ex: Anthropology, Hydrology, Biology, etc). In addition to immersing our learners in these different types of science, we also facilitate Character Development, to emphasize the importance of being a kind, caring human being and authentically instill trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship into each learner. Our days start and end with specials such as Art, PE, Music, Movement, etc. Throughout the year, our learners will experience: + Daily hikes + Doing yoga under the trees + Nature arts & crafts + Fort building + Lake, creek, and waterfall exploration + Forest bathing + Playing kickball at the sports fields + Free playing on the playscapes + And much, much more! Our General Daily Rhythm: (9:30a) Arrival & Free Play (10:00) Morning Meeting/Circle & Discussion (10:30) Character Development (11:15) Arts and Crafts Activity (11:45) Lunch & Free Play (12:30p) Forest School/Nature Science School (2:15) Nature Journaling (2:45) PE Activity (3:30) Dismissal The cost of this program is $2100 per school year. There is a $300 deposit due upon registration, and then tuition is $200/mo from September - May. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Families are strongly encouraged to create a Wonderschool account and take advantage of our tuition management program, which collects tuition via auto-withdrawal from either a checking account or a credit card (a processing fee will apply to all credit card autopayments; there is no fee for payments made via checking account).
