Service Description
Our Outdoor Nature Science School is a weekly homeschool enrichment program that is broken up into 4-week sessions, each focusing on one specific branch of science. Each week, we meet on Fridays at Twin Lakes, a 52 acre park that backs up to Brushy Creek Trail, to immerse our learners in nature studies, forest school, and unstructured free play from 9:30am-3:30pm. This session meets on the following Fridays; April 14th, April 21st, April 28th, and May 5th, and focuses on Botany. Our General Daily Rhythm: (9:30a) Arrival: Free Play & Morning Snack (10:00) Morning Meeting/Socratic Discussion (10:30) Arts and Crafts Activity (11:15) Lunch (12:00p) Forest School/Nature Science School (2:15) Nature Journaling and Mindfulness (2:45) PE (3:30) Dismissal
