Your child will then have the opportunity to participate in a 1 or 2-day shadow experience (depending on their age). This allows them to spend time immersed in our school environment, helping us all determine if our program is the right fit.
-
We will review your application and, if all parties (your family, the student, and our staff) agree that our school would be a good fit for your child, and as long as we have space available, we’ll send an enrollment invitation via email.
-
Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
Nature's Schoolhouse practices a non-discriminatory admissions policy, admitting students of any race, religion, gender, or ethnic origin — to all the rights, privileges, educational programs, and school activities offered to all of our learners.
Our school follows an order of admission with priority to (1) currently enrolled students (2) siblings of currently enrolled students (3) waitlisted students and (4) new applicants. Prospective students will be placed on the waitlist if we are outside of our Registration Period once the Director has the opportunity to meet with parents and the student(s). Prospective students must also make one or more school visits. If the student is enrolled during our summer break, and cannot visit the school, the student will be admitted on a probationary contact.
Our admissions process, from start to finish, is both informal and highly personalized — with the emphasis on determining the best fit between our educational environment and the individual needs of your child.
